Training

We've added a training section, for any pre- and during-conference paid training to go. Currently we have Applecsript, Applescript Studio, and Automator training with Matt Neuburg.

Google is coming to ADHOC! The lineup at ADHOC just keeps getting better and better!

Applications that take advantage of Google can be both eyepopping and fast. Writing an ADHOC showcase entry based on Google technology can be easy. And best of all, Google is now a sponsor of ADHOC!

We've just added two sessions presented by Google engineers to our schedule, one that tells developers how to make use of Google technology, and the other session talks about what it's like to work for one of the most respected, most world famous, most challenging companies in the world. Polish your resume if you're up for it, but come listen to stories of working at Google.

Confirmed Papers Posted

Our list of confirmed papers has been posted. Remember each of these papers will also have an accompanying session.

New Intel and BOF Sessions Added

Yesterday we updated our confirmed sessions list with some sessions that will be about the Intel transition. We also posted new Birds of a Feather sessions on Contracting and Selling Shareware as well.

New session on OpenGL added

We've just added a new session entitled OpenGL on the Mac which will be presented by Bob Kuehne. We've also posted descriptions for the two birds of a feather sessions on Contracting and Selling Shareware.

Google and MacTech added as sponsors

We are very pleased to announce the addition of Google and MacTech as sponsors of this year's ADHOC / MacHack conference. Google will be sponsoring the snack room and MacTech will be providing free subscriptions to student attendees and free issues to all attendees.

New Featured Speaker

Unfortunately, we will not be able to bring Cory Doctorow to ADHOC as a Featured Speaker this year. Instead, we will be presenting Andy Ihnatko to help entertain and inform us. In addition, Scott Knaster will be co-hosting the Showcase with Andy.

We are very pleased to announce the addition of Peachpit and Perfectly Scientific, Inc. as sponsors of this year's ADHOC / MacHack conference. Peachpit is donating books and PSI is donating USB I/O board for attendees who would like to use them in their showcase entry.

We have the schedule of sessions up and running, so you can plan your time at ADHOC. And, because no schedule is ever truly final, we have an RSS feed for the schedule as well. If a session is added, deleted, or moved in time or space, then you can find out as soon as you check the RSS feed.
